HURRAH!!!

We're moving from desert to rain and salt water!

The tribe in the Seattle area signed their Memorandum of Agreement with the Indian Health Service to employ Papaya Daddy!!! For the first time, we can say for sure that we're really moving there!

It looks like Papaya Daddy's first day on the payroll of this tribe will be April 1. Since they pay for the days it takes to move there, this is most likely the day we'll leave here to begin our drive up. The intervening weeks will pass much more happily now that I really know it's happening! In celebration, here are a couple pictures of the house we hold a contract on. It looks like we'll really be buying it now!

And the best part of all is that this house is a short walk from a huge park with an enormous playground, playing fields, running track, walking trail, and organic community garden! The kids can play with friends!

Time to break out the sparkling lemonade that's been chilling in our fridge for the past two months!
